SUMMARY:TRABUS has an opportunity for a Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) supporting the Naval Warfare Information Systems Command (NAVWAR) and the Program Executive Officer (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) in a position as a Nuclear Command Control and Communications-Navy (NC3-N) Modeler Support to provide NC3-N with modeling capabilities to capture NC3 systems and platforms. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop Requirements for Standardized Black/White Box Modeling:
Create high- to low-level requirements to establish modeling standards within NC3 and PEO C4I Chief Engineer (PEO 5.0).
Update model examples to demonstrate proper implementation of the above standards.
Develop Models for Mission Thread Simulations:
Utilize the Cameo simulation toolkit to create detailed models simulating NC3 mission threads.
Develop scripts to enable complex actions and scenarios within mission thread simulations.
Conduct Model Reviews for NC3 Accuracy and Standards Compliance:
Perform in-depth reviews of NC3 models to ensure accuracy and adherence to established modeling standards.
Provide On-Site Support in a TS/Collateral Environment (4–5 Days per week as needed by the client):
Operate within the NDE to maintain and develop models.
Operate within the EDEN environment for development of higher classified models.
Collaborate directly with teammates located in TS/Collateral spaces to ensure alignment on project objectives, troubleshoot issues, and support seamless integration of modeling efforts.
REQUIREMENTS:
Have a strong understanding of creating Activity Diagrams and utilizing the Cameo Simulation Toolkit
Manage and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communications skills with experience supporting government clients onsite.
Ability to develop/document/implement new processes
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields: Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.), Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Operations Research, Physics, Intelligence, Foreign/International Relations, or National Security.
