SUMMARY: TRABUS is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time senior Network Engineer to design, develop, test, implement, and document network/web-based collaboration tools/platforms for all engineering and business operations efforts in the RDT&E phase of the acquisition life cycle for Project Overmatch.    The Network Engineer will monitor, maintain, enhance and manage all system (software/hardware/network/configuration and data management) operations and system administration, integration, and data transfer for modeling and simulation tools, architecture tools, and data repositories within the Naval Integrated Modeling Environment (IME).

  • Provide support with drafting the development of a Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) that describes test objectives, critical technical and operational test parameters, and test phases for various efforts. shall conduct tests, evaluate results, and develop reports (quick-look, final test, and lessons learned) and present findings and conclusions for DON laboratory testing of systems, software, tools, and products. 
  • Develop artifacts to support NOA’s entrance into a proactive role for the yearly FNC cycle.
  • The Network Engineer will develop the prioritization, documentation, and identification of Fleet and programmatic S&T gaps in support of Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) strategic priorities and collaboration with the systems commands (SYSCOMs), Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV), and fleet representatives.
The candidate must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Management or related field
  • 5 years of Network and Security engineering work
  • CompTIA Security +, or CSWF DoD 8750 IAT Level II.
  • Experience in working with new, innovative systems and applying Cybersecurity expertise to the newly developed systems
  • Fully adjudicated DoD SECRET clearance

Desired requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Management or related field

  • Must be proficient in MS Office Applications
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail, procedural compliance, and the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously while meeting deadlines
