Position Description
Trabus Technologies is looking for a CMMI Expert to create, maintain and ensure compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) policies and processes.
  • Conducts independent quality audits of project functions against documented processes and deliverables against defined specifications.
  • Ensures a projects policies and processes are compliant with Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) for Development v1.3 (CMMI-DEV v1.3)
  • Maturity Level 3 general and specific practices.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert of QA and CMMI.
Education: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering from an accredited College or University, AND
  • Minimum of three (3) years applying any four (4) out of eight (8) engineering processes below as indicated in Defense Acquisition Guidebook (DAG) Chapter 4, dated 16-September-2013:
  • Stakeholder Requirements Definition
  • Technical Assessment
  • Architecture Design
  • Requirements Management
  • Configuration Management
  • Verification and Validation
  • Technical Data Management
  • Integration
  • Minimum of one (1) year of working in a  Capability and Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) Maturity
  • Level 3 Organization,
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience conducting and leading The Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for
  • Process Improvement (SCAMPI), AND
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in a CMMI level 2 organizational environment, AND
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience as a designated Subject Matter Expert (SME) lead with responsibility and authority for implementing the DoD Instruction 5000.02 as described within Defense Acquisition Guidebook (DAG) Chapter 4, dated 16-September-2013, AND
  • Minimum of two (2) years of implementing and adhering to three (3) of the five (5) following System
  • Engineering Standards:
    • ANSI/GEIA EIA-632, Processes for Engineering a System, 01 Sept 2003
    • IEEE 1220-2005, IEEE Standard for Application and Management of the Systems Engineering Process, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, 09 Sept 2005
    • ISO/IEC 19760:2003 - A Guide for the Application of ISO/IEC 15288
    • ISO/IEC 15504: 2004 - Information Technology - Process Assessment
    • IEEE 1471, 2000: IEEE Recommended Practice for Architectural Description of Software- Intensive Systems, AND
  • Certifications/Accreditations:
    • CMMI Lead Appraiser Certified – required, AND
    • CMMI Lead Instructor Certified – required
